I'm trying to copy VHS tapes to DVD, via my PC. The PC uses an AMD Sempron 2400, with 1.5GB of RAM. I have a Mercury TV Tuner card. The OS is Windows XP SP2, and I use both the software that came with the card, and NeroVision Express 2 to capture the video; and I use a SCART to composite video lead.

My problem is that no matter what format or setting I use, the sound is always badly out of sync.

Would a different card or different software help? Does anyone have any recommendationss?
