Here's the problem, quick and simple. I ordered a copy of Swap Magic 3.6 and a slimline fliptop from Go Cyber Shop a week ago, and it just came today. I quickly tried the Swap Magic CDs to make sure they worked, and they did, started up fine. I installed my fliptop, and then attempted to load a backup copy of Final Fantasy X. Well, it worked, but it took about 5 minutes to load at first. Not only that, it took about 5 minutes to load everytime the scence changed. Eventually, it just stopped loading all-together.

I tried a few other games, and it was the same problem with all of them. However, I know it isn't caused by bad burns or crappy media, as I booted CogSwap Loader using AR MAX and used Gran Turismo 3 as my TOC refresh disk. It worked perfectly with all the same games it did before, with load times perfectly normal. However, Gran Turismo 3's TOC isn't very high, so most games aren't playable. Anyway, I tried CogSwap Loader again, using the Swap Magic DVD disk as my TOC refresh disk, and it game me the same 10-minute-loading problem.

Also, when loading a backup with Swap Magic, it makes the sound like the laser is reading it, and then stops, and then reading it, and then stops, etc. etc. It can't be the laser, as normal games work fine, as well as backups as long as I use CogSwap Loader and Gran Turismo 3. Still, I don't want to feel like I wasted 20 bucks on Swap Magic if it isn't even going to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, because the only thing I can think of is that the disk is faulty.

PS: I'm using Taiyo Yudens, and burning at 4x.

something's not right. It shouldn't take that long to load backups (ffx worked perfectly for me). I would see if gocyber will exchange your swap magic discs for new ones.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking of doing, because there really isn't any other reason as to why it isn't working properly :P

Oh well, I remember reading a series of customer testimonials regarding Go Cyber Shop and one guy was able to get a new copy of Swap Magic no problem, since his CDs were scratched. Here's hoping.
