Hello all.

I know this has been talked about before, but i cant seem to get it working. My problem is, i downloaded a movie in rar, inside it has 2 folders called CD1 and CD2, i extracted 1 file from each of the folders, and i was left with 2 bin and 2 cue files, both the bin files are 46:05 long, i also opened the cue files with notepad, and this is what i got:

FILE "cd1.bin" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:06:00

FILE "cd2.bin" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:06:00

Is this correct?

What do i have to do to put this on to dvd, so i can watch it? Any help would be great.

The bin files should work ok with VLC media player so you could check that out. Alternatively, mount the cue files in deamon tools and you will get the video files in the virtual drives where you mounted the cues.

To burn, open up nero express and choose burn image or saved project. Open the cue file then burn and all should be ok.

Hope this helps

EDIT: oops, never read the last line about dvd playback, sorry!

That would burn it to CD or rather to 2 CD's. For DVD you need to extract the mpg's, join, re-encode the audio and probably video since it sounds like a SVCD, then author and burn.

Should point out that it is possible to author SVCD video to DVD, however it is not DVD compliant.

If your DVD player supports raw mpg's. You can just extract and burn as data.

Ok guys, just to let you know what ive done so far. I used vcdgear to transfer to mpeg format and i used MPEG Joiner, to join the 2 files together, that worked perfect for me. When i try to transfer it to dvd format, i just cant get it to work, im getting a error message that said, the file is not mpeg, when i go to properties to check the format, that tells me Type of file: File

Does anyone know what im doing wrong?
