Hi there. i'm a noob and need some help.
i wanna get a psp to use homebrew and emulators. do i need to get v1.5 or v1.50? which version can i use homebrew/emulators/ drag and drop files? thanks

The only version if you want to use homebrew is to get the version 1.50, commonly known as 1.5. These are very rare now to find at a local place so the most places you can buy it off is online retailers. Or your best and obvious choice: Ebay. I doubt it you can find one localy in a shop so It's better buying online from a trusted seller.

i dont trust ebay they dont sell the version advitised i know coz i was sold a 2.01 when he advertised a 2.00 so i dont trust them any more, what i did was went to EB and aksed what firmware their Pre-owned PSPs were and i found a 1.52 so i swapped my new one for a preowned one, upgraded that to 2.00 then downgraded to 1.5
and 9 months later a baby is born

You can run homebrew on almost all versions its just 1.5 can run alot more homebrew and also it can support iso loading.
If you have a 2.01+ psp then you can still run homebrew, youll need GTA umd and the eloader "super bock" ALot of Emulators and some apps will run. heres a guide by Sudds
