Gameshark v2.01 won't boot all games?

Hi, first of all, excuse me if a thread like this allready exists, I couldn't find the same problem as I have.
I use gameshark V2.01 to boot my backupped DVD games (yes, it's an old method, I know)
But now this doesn't seem to work for all games. For example: Fight Night Round 3 and NBA Live 06 both don't seem to boot. The screen just goes black and then the PS2 makes a buzzing sound (no high rpm like it would normally do when booting a game).
While others like Kingdom Hearts 2 and War of the monsters boot perfectly.

Could it be that I first need to implant a DNAS code since both games are games with an online function?
Or will EA games just don't work with my method of booting?

I don't have a modchip by the way, I think, but there are some new wires in my ps2...
I used to boot backupped cd games with DVD region X and that works perfectly, but it wouldn't work for DVD's, so that's why I use Gameshark now.

Yesterday I backed up Tomb Raider legend and it works like a charm, but I also tried Burnout Revenge (an EA title with also an online function) and it didn't boot again...
