I have recently purchased a flip top lid with swap magic 3.6. I succesfully burned ice age 2 and was happily playing it for a couple of days but one day it just would not load kept saying invalid ps2 disc. I have tried re burning it without any luck, other games still boot up and one other that did boot up won't now. Can some one please help as I am tearing my hair out and I want to get to bed before two tonight :-)

Did you try reburning at the slowest speed?

Hi, Yes I have tried burning at 1x. I read somewhere on the forum if burning didnt work try at a higher speed which I did (2x 4x) nothing.. I am using Ritek R- Discs which are supposed to be fine.. They were fine as I said they were working one day which means I did it correctly but now they just won't :-(
Any help you can give would be appreciated.

what is the media ID of those Ritek DVD's.
That will tell you if they are real or fakes.
Only time i had that happen is when cheap media was used, or when my laser was going out.
You could try cleaning and adjusting the laser as well.
Updating your burners firmware may also help.

If it did work and now it doesn't then it has to be a problem with your lens. Give it a clean. Copied games are always the first to have load problems when you have a dodgy lens.
