Hi there, first post I admit and I'm looking for some direction or just plain straight-forward help. :)

Where can I find a circuit diagram to build my own Gamecube to PC USB adapter?
My needs are only to play my retro games with the D-pad and contact buttons. I'm not really looking to code any drivers because I'm not familiar enough with programming to do so.
If the XBOX can be converted physically, the plug itself, to USB type A like the SmartJoy lik-sang.com product for XBOX, can the Gamecube one be modified to plug into the PC USB ports? Or does the wiring need a programmed circuit board?

So basically can an adapter be made with a ciruit diagram? And if so, where can I find that diagram and the USB drivers for it? :)

if you search on ebay for "gamecube usb" youll find lots of options.
in my opinion, it is best to just buy it.

your emulator should have the drivers to run it out of the box.
if not i remember seeing a commercial program that did just that, connect foreign controllers for your pc

Aight well I knew my question was going to be demanding. I just though that maybe some logic circuit pro would have opened up one of those adapters and create a diagram.

Thanks for the info Padrons. But I'd like to keep my thread open for other controller mods. I know about the FAQ links but maybe some other people know newer or different mods available. I know for one thing, you can strip apart a Gravis USB pad and solder the contact buttons from the Gamecube pad to that and use the Gravis pad as a connection to USB. but that would use up a perfect fine Gravis pad and would be too much slutter with the wires and junk.
