Hi, I've just downloaded a game, 2 files:
(disc-1)FLT-AM2A.BIN.EXE and (disc-2)FLT-AM2B.BIN.EXE.
I tried to run them on a virtual drive(Daemon):
I renamed them to .BIN and made a .CUE-file for them, mounted the .CUE-file on DAEMON, but then I got a message saying the 'disc' is empty. This is the .CUE for disc-1:
FILE "FLT-AM2A.BIN" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00
I then tried to mount the .BIN file, then the game-installer appeared, I started the installation, but after short time I got an error saying it is unable to read a file called AOM.EXE. I pressed ignore, but another 'unable-to-read-file' message pops up.
2nd try(IsoBuster):
After having read some threads at this forum I opened the .BIN files with IsoBuster and extracted the .BIN-files to a folder. Then I opened the folder containing disc-1 and pressed the SETUP.EXE, it started installing just fine and I got no errors..but I don't know what to do when it asks for disc 2: "Please insert disc-2 in drive c:\". This is what disc-2's folder contains: AOM(folder with video, audio, texture -files), msxml(folder with language files), _AOM.EXE, DRVMGT.DLL, SECDRV.SYS, AUTORUN.INF
How do I insert disc-2 into drive c:\?
3rd try(BlindWrite):
I wanted to burn the .BIN files on a CD..I don't have much clue about burning an image to a cd so I just followed the standard settings.
When I tried burning from the .CUE-file it said: "HD Image cannot be opened" and "Some of the sectors do not have valid headers".
I then tried with the .BIN-file, when BlindWrite 'verifyed' the .BIN-file it said: "Some of the sectors do not have valid headers". So I didn't continue with the burning session(I assumed the CD wouldn't work).
