new to forum..hello

If you copy your movies can you damage the original. I know you cannot burn to a already burned dvd but If I pay 21.99 for "fun with dick and jane" and I copy my movie for back up I do not want to damage the origninal. I don't know if these copy softwares put watermarks or something to damage my bought dvd.

Is the possiable?

This is a pressed DVD, nothing but nothing can be written on to it....
All you are doing is ripping data from the disk..........

ok thank I just wasn't sure that I could damages my bought one. But it looks like I will not. Anything that I have to watch out for?

Just make sure you are using programs that will break the newest encryptions i.e DVDFab Decrypter which is free, AnyDVD which has a 21 day free trial period, and DVD43 also free, but sometimes can cause pc problems. Use good media like Sony, Fuji, Verbatim or Maxell, and keep burn speed to 8x max for less errors use 4x.
