I am brand new with this, but I downloaded DVD shrink & DVDFab Decrypter. I used DVD Fab Decrypter and saved the movie to my hard drive. I opened in DVD shrink, and when I click on Backup - the whole program closes, or disappears. Am I doing something wrong?

The same thing happened before I loaded decrypter, and I thought that may have been the problem.

It may be copy protection on the disk causing DVD Shrink to crash. I don't know what title you're backing up but when this happens, try the following:

Rip to the HDD with DVDFab Decrypter
Process the resulting files with VOB Blanker or FixVTS
Lastly process with DVD Shrink

If you use AnyDVD, you can usually process the disk directly with DVD Shrink, skipping some steps.

Thank you so much! I used VOB Blanker, and it did the trick. I am burning now to Nero, and the backup button worked!
