Ok, so I have an iso of DBZ shin budokai, and one of virtual tennis:world tour. I have a 1gb scan disk running on firmware 1.5. I can not how ever get any umd emulator working. I have tried fast loader, umd emulator, genesis emulator. I can get to the umd loader screen and see the isos. however when i click on the iso for dbz, i get the error game could not be started (ffffed3). when i start the game virtual tennis: world tour i get sent back to the start menu. I have umds in, so i tried copy load, system load, and direct load. when i direct load i get to the umd starting, but then it just freezes and does nothing unless your supposed to wait for over 30 minutes for the iso to load. i tried using dev hooker and for both games i just get sent back to the main menu. anyone have any ideas on what im doing wrong?

I found that DBZ works better with UMD Emulator RunUMD edition.
First download UMD Emulator RunUMD edition from here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/427
Set it up according to the readme
Download the X folder from here: http://eternal-psp.vze.com/dl.htm (extract the X folder to Drive Letter of PSP:\X\ )
Start UMD Emulator RunUMD edition and set it to "Load RunUMD" mode (instead of direct load or system menu etc.)
Then if you set everything up correctly it will work.

Do not remake the ISO. Just follow the instructions I gave in the previous post. You dont need the flash files or MPH Game Loader. The link I gave was for the UMD Emulator RunUMD edition, it is not the same as the normal UMD Emulator V.08C. Just follow the instructions in my previous post and you should be fine.

Do you have the X folder (which you can download from here: http://eternal-psp.vze.com/dl.htm ) in the root of your memory stick?
You dont press O, only press X and your game should start.

i think it is my isos for virtual tennis and dbz, only because i downloaded an iso and it worked fine. with the dbz and tennis i made the iso. so maybe i made them incorrectly. what is the proper way to make an iso, and which programs from the files psp_game and umd data.

@vmckid, just donwnload fastloader 7 version from psphacks. it works most iso games perfectly. dont have to go thru lotta process like umdemulator, though both programs are from same author. bye

actually, i used the vcdromx and it was a shit load more confusing than umd gem. thanks though. i got a good iso and umd emulator is still not working. i get error ffffed3 game could not be started when i use system menu , or i get a loading screen with messed up colors if i use load run umd, and the it crashes, and i get a black loading screen with copy load but then it crashes.

Thanks to eternalis! I make it work by following your instruction:
