Hello. I am using DVD Decrypter to rip DVDs. Once I rip them to my hard drive, I use DVD2ONE to split the file. Then once I do this I use Nero to burn the files to a DVD-R. Somehow, every time I do this, it never works, so I am asking what specific file or folder do you need to burn to a DVD-R?

VIDEO_TS folder in Nero which is already there & doesn't need to be created.

Are you sure your ripping the correct files with Decrypter..?

Just asking cos I use the same process as you (except Smartripper to start) & I have successfully done 150+ now.

i am ripping all the files- am I supposed to make the destination file called VIDEO_TS? if not, then where does the VIDEO_TS file come in?

Nero (using Wizard)
DVD > Comiple a DVD > Other DVD Formats > DVD-Video > Finish (on this screen it'll say only .BUP.IFO.VOB files at the top)
On the left hand side you'll see AUDIO_TS folder & VIDEO_TS folder , click on the VIDEO_TS folder then drag & drop all .VOB .IFO .BUP files over.
Burn @ X1 to make sure (or faster if your confident but it is known that 2+hr movies prefer to be burnt slow...no freezing/pixelation in last chapter (s)

hey- yeh, I tried what you said to do, but I just dragged one file over, like VTS_01_1 to try to burn this. I click the burn icon, and then the program doesnt do anything. Then i push it again and it says that the program isnt responding. Why is this, what can I do to prevent this? I am trying just one file, so that it wont take too long, in case I did something wrong. I am also using an Imation DVD-RW.
