Hello. I have the newest version of InCD and normally it works great. When it comes up it says the CDRW disk is mounted and can be used like a HD etc etc. Clicked on properties and I have 99.4Mb used and 473Mb free. Well when I go to save something I now get the following error:
Static: 0028-0003-0011-0005
Read Error- Please reboot your drive.
Now when I check the properties after this, I have no space left on the disk, but its still showing its mounted. The only software that I have recently installed is Norton Internet Security 2003. I tried the website for Incd but cant find anything on this error. Does anyone know what I can do??? Running Windows 2000 Pro with SP3 and it just started doing this.
Also. I keep reading it seems that a lot of people dont like the packet writing software because of problems just like this. What alternatives do I have software wise, that is maybe better?
Quote:What alternatives do I have software wise, that is maybe better? Hard drives have come down in price, especially for larger gig hd's. Maybe consider an external hd as packet writing software+ cdrw's can sometimes be a pain in the booty m8. If you don't need a large hd then maybe consider a iOmega 750 zip drive? I read somewhere where Win2k SP3 is very buggy. Go to add\remove and see if you can uninstall then try your packet writing software (InCD) and see if you encounter errors.
