Probably not as bad PS2 or xbox but they can be. Too many it's not my media causing the problem - never happenend b/4 w/ memerox/princo/hp/optidic/imiation and the list of crap media goes one.

Yeah I needed a break from the PS2 forums, and I noticed Gear79's inactive in the other thread, that's what brought me here. AD is a great forum. I guess there isn't much that can be done about the noobs. They will always plague us. I find myself biting my tongue quite a bit lately. On one hand, we were all noobs at one time. On the other, you can't expect someone to answer the same question 100 times and not get a little snippy. A lot of the regulars that were here when I joined the site in Sep are no longer here, Hursty for instance. He's well known to be the Yoda of PS2 related stuff. I've probably taken over for him, just as someone will take over for me when I'm gone. It's relaxing just to shoot the shite with some fellow knowledgeable members. Cheers all!

Yeah I tried to follow your guide for making my own sig, Phantom69, made me feel stupid. It wasn't your guide, I'm just not used to the Gimp. I found an awesome Sesshomaru render, I'll get around to it eventually. I try to keep my knowledge base well rounded. I'm almost Expert at the PS2, relative noob to backing up movies and converting movie files to DVD. I can do those things well, I just haven't done it enough to be super knowledgeable like you guys. I plan on downloading some anime sometime soon, what do you guys recommend for converting ogm/ogg files to DVD format? I've been told Avi2DVD works for that, unfortunately Nero Vision 4 doesn't support ogg/ogm files. Thanks for the info. Cheers!

Likewise. I'm into Rap and R&B quite a bit myself. I like Boyz II Men, Jagged Edge, 112, Bone, Outkast, Cash Money, and Eminem quite a bit. Cheers!

Well I listen to a lot of music from anime, video games, and rock and roll. I like punk rock and hard rock. I also listen to 80's music. It all depends on my mood. I'm guessing the inside thing you're all referring to is about Gear79? You don't need to tell me, it's not my business. I've been listening to a lot of R&B lately, you just in case there's a certain someone I may be interested in lol. And no it's not MJ. We dated back in 96, he bought me off with some Water Melon Jolly Ranchers. Oh the horror, lol.

As to the inside thing(got me) we all hang here but a few of us also either mod or are members or even admin on other sites, gears actually a member of one of the sites i admin

That's cool. Tell him I said hi. Isn't being an admin kinda boring? I mean you don't really get to help people with their problems as much. Then again you do get the power to ban people. I think we should give gear a rest. He was a good mate of mine on this site also, but sometimes you have to use your judgements. Gear will come back when he's good + ready.
