I have some problems with Socom fireteam bravo.
I have an iso of the game (534 mb) and its a USA version.
Even when i try to load the iso (untouched) in UMD Emulator (emulation mode is system menu), the psp comes with an error saying "the disc could not be read".

I tried decrypting the prx files, AND using other prx files (from a rar file "socom.rar" - i forgot where i got it from). But it comes up with the same error.

any help is appreciated, thanx

i think it has to be run in conjunction with MPH 2.0 loader or genesis loader.

yea well, i couldn't even get to the game memory stick menu because i got an error. Note the error is given by the psp itself, not any other program, but through its firmware.

I know i need MPH game loader and i installed that on the psp. But when i load the ISO through umd emulator, the psp can't read the iso. I think it's a problem with the iso. Have any of u had the same problem with this 534 mb iso? (its from limitedivx or something)

What is the version on your psp?
for socom you need a prx swap and you need a save state : http://www.psp-hacks.com/psp-saves.php?l=S
set umd emulator to system menu and then click socom, when u return to the xmb go to mph and it should work.

i have a 1.5 psp. I tried changing the prxs with some others i got off the web, and I tried decrypting them myself with a program. (I got the save game, but i don't think thats the problem.)

I put UMD Emulator on system menu, and when I select Socom, the psp comes up with that same error, while showing part of the system menu. It's probably a bad iso.

thanks anyway

Mine does the same thing. Just hit O and you should be fine. If the error message remains on the screen you can still navigate on the psp's xmb. You can see through the error message so just go to the game folder and then to mph game loader.
