I read alot articles said need do lot of thing in PSP version 2.0 to play a GTA, but i can play that game just UMD emulator 0.9C and MPHloader 1.0 (my psp is version 2.0). But after my memory card crash, i restore back the file from my backup and everything is different. I mean i cannot play Daxter, GTA or etc games anymore. But i am really sure in play fine in my psp before (because i have save file backup in my computer), can save and play more than 10 minutes. Therefore i wondering is there anyone know the sequence to put the files or need some special settings? I done exactly same thing but it won't work. It really annoying me and i already tried thousand and thosand time to repeating same thing. Please any guru to help me solve that problem.

there is a umdemulator .9c??!! wtf?
you prolly mean umdemulator .8c with the patched core.bin.
anywho here is what you'll need for gta

no particular sequence just make sure you have the folders in the right places.

Thank you for promptly replied, yup i mistyped the 8 to 9 :). I mean can you list for how to setup UMD Emulator ??? And what u mean patched core.bin?? Please forgive me if that is silly question. Many thanks.

no biggie...
UMDemulator folder goes in your root of your psp
UMDE%
and UMDE
go in the PSP>Game Folder.

The patched core.bin just allows for a few more functions in umdemulator. its no biggie.
It allows you to choose run umd as a emulation mode.

Once again thank you very much, where can i get the patched core.bin? What you run as emulation mode. Is it something special can make GTA running on my console? If possible can you explain it in details? Appreciate for your helps.

look at the first one. its basically what i told you but in more detail. you don't need anything from that post. I have you all the links you will need for gta. So i hope that it doesn't confuse you.

Yep, your spot on some most new games require the 'x' folder in the root of ur mem stick..
