Let me start off by saying im a Madden nut who's played every single edition of madden and i think its the greatest football game ever. With that said it clear that EA slacked off on the 360 version on the game but from now the 360 and ps3 version will be EXACTLY the same. Anyone think EA will utilize the power of the next gen systems or will they just continue on slacking off because of the NFL license they obtained has killed all competition?

they will have to be innovative, at some point i see them taking feedback from other companies.. but they can just as easily lose fans from their franchise if they don't keep it in tip top shape.

I hope it's truly next gen. like those commercials we saw. But i doubt it. They will def fix all the features this time around.

One of my biggest knocks against the madden franchise is the easy way people seem to learn out how to glitch and cheat wins and losses. It ridiclous,if they are going to establish a serious online setup they MUST find a way to regulate cheating to some certain degree.I agree with you i think they will get the features right this go round but htey just need to avoid some of the pitfalls in the past like the juke glitch and all that garbage.Now im no fool and no u cant completely eliminate glitches but put a team together to work solely on that aspect of the game to avoid bad online play. the top 50 in almost any EA game is almost cetain to be a glitcher and especially madden. I get sick of playing straight up and getting into the top 100 and then u get glitched game after game and all that nonsense.

Last year at this time, EA was showing off a single player for the Xbox 360. They had one player and one stadium to show?nothing controllable.

This year, the PS3 version, while early, is already playable. That's right, 11-on-11 PS3 playable.

They've been able to build on what was learned from the 360, with enough time to add more features and tweak the gameplay.

More PS3 info will be released in the coming months, but for now, PS3 owners should be encouraged by the progress made so far. The game is miles ahead of where the 360 development was last year. And that has a lot of people at Tiburon already grinning from ear to ear.
