ImgBurn has been out for a longggggggg time now! Glad you noticed it! it's still a great program ...... but the ripping rights have been sold and the full program won't be updated anymore. there are sites around the internet that still lets you download DVDDecrypter but remember, the newer movies may or may not work with this program because updates are no longer done! I still use it, and love it!

here is one site where you can download it:

Old news -- sad but true, ImgBurn can only burn now. However, it is still a very good (free) ISO burning engine though.

To me this is a pointless thread cause like many have said this is old news. plus you can still rip for free if u download DVD Fab Decrypter.

Clear and simple.

this may sound stupid but I am a newbie at this, how good is the quality with DVDfab Decrypter? I hear that the original will burn like it was an originall copy-does the other one do that?

DVDfab Decrypter is not a burning program all it does is ripp the DVD files to your hard drive, either to take it through DVD Shrink or compress and burn with CloneDVD 2.

It basically helps do that with either DVD43 or AnyDVD running in the background.

Also remember not to use the 2 encryption breakers at the same time.

@banana604

What happens if you use two at the same time is that they conflict with each other. They wont work properly on breaking the encryption.
One day i had anydvd and dvd43 and had trouble. I had to unisntall anydvd and then dvd43, at the end i installed anydvd back.
So go for borhan9`s advice,do not use two at the same time.

Edit:carmike was faster.

I used to use DVDFAB when DVD decryptor wouldn't work but my DVDFAB free trail ran out. I uninstalled it then reinstalled it but it still says my free trial has ran out the first time I use it. How do I get around this?
Thanks

KriZENry,
You are probably going to have to buy it if it was one of the pay programs they have. DVDFAB Decrypter is free and it does the about the same thing DVDDecrypter did

It's my DVDFAB free trial that ran out. I downloaded it from the Afterdawn link but when the free trial ran out, it won't let me use it anymore even when I un/reinstall it.

How do you get around the 21 day AnyDVD Free Trial? Where on the system is the info that maintains the time trial info?

I un-installed and re-installed, and still no dice.

You dont. You will have to buy it after the 21 day trial.
If you dont want to buy it, use the freeware programs that lots of members here use.
