Hi,

Can anyone please help, I feel like I am going in crazy circles!

My boss at work gave me her old business Nokia 6310i as she was being upgraded to a new phone and mine had been stolen. Unfortunately she couldn't remember the pin code and the phone is now requesting a PUK code.

It was registered with Orange and after trawling the internet I see that I need to contact them for the PUK code but unfortunately I can't because when I telephone their customer services they request your Orange mobile number is entered and as far as I know the phone doesn't have one as it was transferred when my boss got her new phone. (The old SIM card is still in mine).

I tried emailing them but received what looked like an automated e-mail advising I need to phone them as they can't issue a PUK code by email ... I think you are starting to see the problem!

Can anybody please help? If i buy a new SIM card will the problem go away? Do you know if I can unblock it to any network in the current circumstances?

Any help would be much appreciated.
