pls how do i solve service error 09

please my Hddis showing service error 09 and i replaced it with another Hdd but the error persist.i can't even flash and install.i use
applex 2.0 and i don't know what to do...please help i'm a total noop.

Perhaps it was your cable and not the HDD, service code 9 could be the cable, HDD, or the motherboard. Did you prepare your new HDD with the Xbox HDM?

I find that service error 9 comes from the jumper setting on the drive.. if it's master set it to c/s or the opposite.. some drives don't have jumpers fitted at all..

I posted links a couple of weeks ago to the applex2 manuals.. sorry lost all my links temp due to major system malfunction.. hunt my posts and you will find it.. seem to remember the site was called..something or other..modchips.co.uk or try cyber-mag (shadowknyght)

thanx guys but i replaced the cables but still i see error 09.and my jumper is set to cable select.How do i prepare my new HDD with the Xbox HDM.Any guide to assist me

I have never used The Xbox HDM. Maybe this method will help you:

Heres a thought is there anyway that you could take you brother's Xbox apart disconnect his DVD drive and connect your HDD then you would be able to use the app Xbox Magic Config on it.
