PS2 HDD Question?? Please Help!

I am wanting to stop using my laser on my ps2 except for when running hd advance 3.0. I also do not want to keep taking my ps2 hdd back and forth between pc and ps2. I have an external hdd I can use and was wondering if I could transfer my images to that hdd from my pc...and then plug the external hdd into my ps2 usb and somehow transfer my games to the ps2 hdd? Is this possible...I think it is but I need some help. If someone could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

not really heard of any method that would allow you to transfer files via USB to the internal HDD in a PS2.

But you can skip the whole extyernal HDD part and just buy a $12 crossover cable and get what you need set up to FTP the files from the PC to the PS2, like Xbox people do.
