My CD-RW doesn't work at the proper speed

I eventually bought the Samsung Combo SG 352 BRN. Its maximum recording speed is 52x but, when you try to burn with Nero it allow you to burn at max of 32x (even with 40x burnable CDs.

Can it be that the driver installation decice add this line to the config.sys:

DEVICE=C:\SAMSUNG\SSCDROM.SYS \D:SSCD000 /V.

While the combo drive is called with letter E: ?
