I'm attempting to make a backup copy of "House of Flying Daggers" using the latest version of DVD Shrink- but everytime I click "Open Disc" - it gets to 35% and then freezes at that point. I've done this many times with other DVDs and never encountered any issues - any suggestions or ideas on what is going wrong? Thank you.

If you are not using an encryption breaker to rip the newer movies Shrink will not do them. It is not upgraded any more. Try using free DVD Fab Decrypter and guides here:

http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/

Also try from Slysoft.com AnyDVD free 21 full program trial.
