i just got a 2gb pro duo memory stick. when i put it in my psp and try to format it it comes up with "format failed 8001b006" and it doesnt let you do it on the computer either. i mean if u dont format it it doesn't come up with the psp files or nothing like it does on my 32mb memory card. is there something i am doing wrong? thanks

Where'd you buy the memory card? Please don't say ebay because if it's off of ebay it's most likely fake and you got duped.

Unfortunately it sounds like you have already answered that question by the fact that it doesn't work.

How much did you pay ?

If it has never worked you should contact the seller, if you get no joy then contact Ebay.

na its not fake its just faulty. i contacted him and hes sending another one :-). thanks anyways tho ppl or and it was £38 i payed.
