Problem with Prime &The Family Stone, Couldn?t burn them using Shrink alone I assume because of some encryption? I then used DV FabDecrypter, then Shrink & finally DVD Decrypter. All successful according to Decrypter. The disks wont play in my Panasonic DMR-E80H DVD recorder player or my Toshiba DVD player, ?cannot read - check disc.?
Yet I can play it on my HP laptop as well as my PC using Power DVD player or InterActual player and I have looked at several chapter as well as the credits and all looks good. I was finally able to burn The Family Stone by running the copy I made back thru Shrink and Decrypter, I did this on my laptop but don?t see why that made any difference. I tried this same method using my pc to burn Prime but still haven?t got a copy that will play on anything but my computers. The disk show The Family Stone is 3.87GB, Prime is 3.87GB. I have used FabDecrypter other times when Shrink wouldn?t work and didn?t have any problems using FabDecrypter first.

Something is wrong there. I suspect there is a fake structural or pgc left on your backups, therefore you're having issues with the playback and plus your backups is only showing 3.87GB -- that is unless you're doing the main movie/title only, then that's another case.

I ripped and backed up both movies (Prime & The Family Stone) using my usual "DVDFAB Decrypter + VobBlanker" guide and so far it worked flawlessly.

Alkohol, After I found out I couldnt play the copies I tried running the backup discs I had made thru Shrink and Decrypter as if they were the originals and yes I did them Tittle 1 only. Now I found your guide after reading some of the forums so I downloaded VobBlanker & saved your guide in Word for future use when I run across a DVD that Shrink won't run on. I have Nero 6 Ultra and after your comments I went looking and found Nero recode and will also try that for processing. I just did Nanny McPhee using Shrink only as I havent tried to make the copy with DeCrypter yet. It went thru Shrink fine. Thanks for your help.

I was able to do both of these titles using alkohol's guide:

DVDFAB Decrypter -> VOB Blanker -> DVD Shrink -> Imgburn

That's my MO for doing all titles these day's, plus as has been suggested, use a custom output size (~4360MB in Shrink) to keep from writing all the way to the outside edge.
