but it doesnt burn it with nero. It just started doing this 2 days ago. I have to manually go to nero and burn the iso. its enabled to burn with nero under the preferences. Anything else i need to look for? Its 6.6.06 version of nero and nothings really changed. Normally once it finished encoding it would go straight to nero and do its thing.

If you are selecting to make an ISO file with DVD Shrink Nero will never autoburn. You need to select your burner as your target if you want Nero to pick up where DVD Shrink leaves off. Or you can select ISO image file and burn with DVD Decrypter and DVDD will auto burn for you.
