Well I came to work today and one of my work buddies brought his psp and he had a 2.70, so I had a look and found he had a homebrew on his psp which he could direct boot a game called: Loco Roco. When I came home today I did a little research and found out you can direct boot off 2.70, Check this site out although it is in japanese:
This is how to install the game. And finally if you are clever enough to download it and play on your 2.70 than your in luck. Now what are you saying this for then you might ask, well maybe I'm just trying to give people ideas on how to use 2.70 to get homebrew working :). I hope this piece of information helps,

Yeah thats old news where have you been 3d? only signed eboots by sony can run, and its much complicated just sticking an eboot in that folder and having homebrew on 2.7..
Well I haven't really found any thing intresting lately on afterdawn, Although I have been downloading alot from torrent Leech :) I will still go on afterdawn though :) But its just the newbie 3min wait that anoys me ;(
