I just bought a PSP firmware 2.5, and i updated to 2.6. If I restore to default settings, do i get 2.5 back or is it still 2.6

Your PSP can never go down in firmware, once you update it, the firmware is stuck there. The only exception to this is if you have a 2.0 firmware, there is a tutorial on how to downgrade that to 1.5. The default settings option only puts all the menu options to default settings. Meaning sound settings, background settings, network settings, that kinda thing. Hope that helps.
