You could try my guide (link in sig) it loads ARMAX each time you startup, there is a way to have the codes fully added to the game by hexediting a load of stuff, but ive never found anything on how to do it, and anyway with that method theres no way to deactivate the codes which could be annoying.

i think hdd hex editor is case sensitive so change it all to caps SYSTEM.CNF, and make sure you are hexing ARMAX's SL*S not your games one.

no the armax doesnt load like said before I run the game from hdd and it freezes when loading then there is a red or pink screen.
do I try all the modes? I know for sure I have to killhdd aftr ld for mortal(shoalin monks) because the original iso needed it.

yea try kill hdl, ther than that you may have missed something in the making of the image, cant really help with pink screen as ive never had it i follow my guide each time and all my games so far have worked. BLACK GTASA NFS:MW and a few others all worked fine.

you change the games file to SYSTE1.CNF, in the file adding when puting your game files in put SYSTE1 in place of your games SYSTEM.CNF file, in fact it probably is an issue to do with this file as it happens so soon

nah they are just dummy files to make the cd easier to read in your ps2, dont bother adding them.
