Hey if anyone knows how to remove the mods off the XBOX can you tell me. I have the really softmods not the chips just the modded maps using splinter cell and i think evolution x.

i suppose ur talkin about halo2 if so go to file explorer or ftp it and find folder E: then click tdata then a folder that ends with the num. 64 the those are the maps for halo, you need to find original maps and copy over them through ftp and your mods are off!

no i just want to delete like all the memory and everything else nothing that will effect the xbox itself just like all the data.

hey, i want to soft mod my xbox. I have action replay and in the codejunkies.com section there is a linux installer. Can I use this to mod or do I still need mechassault or splinter cell? Also, if I get the linux installer instsalled, then what do i do? Where do I get mods for Halo 2 to use with it? I dont really want to get banned from matchmaking but if it happens i dont care that much but is there a way to get back on matchmaking after Im banned? Cant i just get rid of the modded material and get a new xbl gamertag? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

@ hidden, ok yes you need to copy the linux to mem. card then copy the linux to your xbox's harddrive, after that you need to put your mechassault, splinter cell etc. and click start game, linux, then checkpoints! there you have a softmodded xbox!

you need to put he game in everytime you want to put ppf's on your xbox!

ok a ppf is used for halo 1 and or halo 2!
a ppf is a patched file that you put on a map!
this allows you to be a modder.
