The read me on the umd fix pack has me all confused about install- anyone have any advice? There is the x folder, the jbrussia folder with the sysdir and usrdir folders, the psp/game folder with the 2 jbrussia/jbrussia% folders, and the 715mb iso. tell me where goes what?
I may be wrong but I think the x and jbrussia folders should be saved to the root of the memory stick and the other jbrussia/jbrussia% should be saved in PSP/GAME. Think it uses the same method as Syphon Filter which I have running now and I got similar folders to these. I didn't get an ISO file, don't know if you need it?????
1) Extract From_Russia_With_Love_USA_PSP-DMU to a folder on your PC using iSOBuster or similar utility.
2) From your original PSP_GAME folder move all of the files/folders (*EXCEPT for the SYSDIR/BOOT.BIN file*) to the JBRUSSIA folder from this pack.
NOTE: The reason you don't move the BOOT.BIN file is because a patched one is already included in this pack.
3) Now follow the instructions as normal from the included NFO file:
Copy all folders contained in this release to the root of your memory stick.
Now boot using RunUMD.
NOTE: Although this is labeled a "NO UMD" release, that just means you don't need the actual FRWL UMD in the drive to play the game, however, you will need a UMD in the drive to run it (any UMD game should work).
No, No, No. You have a 007: From Russia with Love ISO right? Well open it with WinRAR and you will see 2 files, UMD_DATA.bin and a folder called PSP_GAME. Extract PSP_GAME and all its contents into a folder. Them move all the contents of PSP_GAME (which you just extracted) into JBRUSSIA folder which cam in your pack besides BOOT.BIN (Which is located in PSP_GAME\SYSDIR folder) as there is already one in the pack you downloaded. Then continue with the steps as mentioned.
