Having trouble copying this movie using dvdfab,vobblanker,dvdshrink.Normally this combinations works like a charm. Did Sony come out with new copy protects?

Nothing new to speak of, are you sure you do not have a scratched/dirty or bad disk? What problem are you having with the disk all you say is it will not backup?

It's a brand new dvd.Original plays fine w/no scratches.First time i just used dvdfab...went to dvdshrink/reauthor, and movie could not be found...i then tried vobblanker...i see the VOB files, but again shrink cannot find or open them. When i try to just click on the vob_1 file to see it play, nothing plays,just shows a black screen.And thanks for responding.

my bad...it was a VTS_01 file i tried to open.

Will it play any part of the movie, or does it just get stuck at the beginning with black screen? You might want to try opening the files in reauthor and not open files.

dvdshrink cannot see the files for some reason using open files or reauthor. When i use windows explore, i can see the files are there. Mind boggling. I just wonderin if there a file thats blocking dvdshrink from seeing the other files.
