How can i use dvd shrink for avi files so that i don't have to use nero to automatically do this for me? Using nero reduces the video quality so that it can fit on to a disc and I would rather not do that.

Sounds like what your trying to do this would help. When you open Shrink click on open files. Search for the location of your AVI file. It should go in shrink then click back up, then when that's done insert disc ready to burn. I like to check the files that it made in a folder to make sure they work. Many times some files are black, audio is off, etc. Luck.

shrink won't work with AVI files untill they are converted to dvd complyent files, so what you have to do is convert the files first and thain you can use shrink to do it's thing

try something like DivX2DVDpro..excellent,comes bundled with some other stuff..public torrents always have it..

I always use Nero Vision 7.0. Works perfectly all the time. It can alson covert the files without shrinking them.
