I got a PSP today!!! But the screen is... cracked?

Okay, so today I got a PSP game system. Works fine, perfectly, wonderful, but the screen is cracked! No, not the plastic outside, but the LCD! Could it have melted & splattered? However, the screen's ink is blotched at an angle.

Can someone tell me if the psp screen lcd needs to be replaced? (It cost a fortune.. :()

Or if I can just open and up and clean it etc? Thanks. I appriciate ALL the help.

And I am getting the modchip put in my PS2 tomorrow actually. ;)

I'm no novice at fixing game systems or electronics, so i'll understand. Thanks!

I think your best bet would be to buy a new lcd screen adn replace it. They're not that expensive if you look around.

Yeah youll need to replace your LCD people do it all the time even for the dead pixels
They are approx $80 http://www.xboxrepairguide.com/psp-lcd-screen-p-898.html from most stores maybe they will install it for you otherwise there are plenty of guides on the net
