ok first off im using Nerosmartstart,,version 6,,im new to this but,,ive made all the way to the burning stage,,where i keep getting this message,,,unable to prepare data for recording : The Structure of the created disc is to complex ( Internal error 1008) please ive been working on this for weeks,,any ideas? ty Getting let down in tx ,,,

What is the format of the movie file?? Also does that program accept that file format??

yes it accepts it ,,it is a AVI but converted to a mpeg,,goes all the way to burning and starts that then says unable to prepare data for recording: the structure of the created disc is to complex internal error 1008,,,,,,,now i looked that up and found that is,,Block Size Conflict,,,,but i even got a DVD+R DL so size cant be the problem,,,question i have also after digging around in Nero trying to get that file u wanted is i came across a thingy that says system ASPI is off says system doesnt have that but opt is turn nero's aspi on..then says working,,,but i click out and bam go bk nd its off again,,should this be on? ty for any kinda help.

To do this, I use Nero Vision 7.0 to create a dvd. After it processes, it creates all of the necessary VIDEO_TS files along with VTS files needed for burning a dvd. It works perfectly.

what is the name of the movie? i might be able to help you. also what does this have to do with shrink? is this a nero problem?

i have Nero 6 it converts the file to mpeg but wont burn,,now i tryed DivX it on the other hand burns it but wont convert to mpeg so it wont play in my home dvd player...so i know its not the movie,,its in Nero some where but where i have no idea,,,
