how can you setup a game of total annihilation through lan because i am struggling with it. thanks

You need to know what protocol the game uses for LAN.

Since TCP/IP is the standard protocol for XP, and IPX/SPX is the standard for the other OSes...you can install IPX/SPX really easy.

Right click My Network Places, go to Properties. Right click your LAN icon, and go to Properties. In the next window, click the Install button. Select IPX from the list, and follow thru. A lot of games still rely on that protocol.
