I have a laptop with Windows XP Pro and a Motorola V220 phone that I sometimes use to connect (via usb cable) to the internet when I'm in a remote area. I bought Motorola's Phone Tools, and updated it. It works, but I can't seem to connect any better than 9600!
I have to turn off graphics in the browser just to get Internet Explorer to run.
Also, I've read somewhere that I can change my connection settings on the phone by pressing Menu (center button)/ scroll to Settings/ scroll to Connection.
"Connections" is not in my menu. All I have is:
Tools, Personalize, Audio, Call Forward, In-Call Setup, Phone Status, Headset, Car Settings, Network, Security, Java Settings, & WebAccess
Any idea's on how to tweak this so I can at least connect at 28.8?
