No audio using Gadmei UTV330 TV Box

As I am doing a one-off project and don't have a spare PCI slot I bought a TV Box as the cheapest alternative to buying a TV Card.

Set up was simple and faultless and I can view my VHS content on my PC. The only problem is there is no sound.

I have checked that the line out of the TV Box is going into the Line In of my sound card. I have also checked that the cable works independently of the TV Box

I have also made sure that the properties are correctly configured and that the software is pointing to my sound card.

I have checked the device manager and there does not seem to be a problem with the drivers or anything

Is there anything else I am missing? Any suggstions would be appreciated

I don't know if it makes any difference, but I am in the UK
