I'm trying to copy the movie " 3 Iron ". I have been copying movies with dvdfab,dvdshrink,nero6 without any problems. I also tried dvdfab,vobblanker,dvdshrink,nero6 and still no luck. This is my second post,sorry, but I really want this movie. Any suggestions?

Have you tried the free trial of AnyDVD if not try this and use the included ripper and then see if the file will open. Or run it behind Shrink and see if it will rip/encode. This is listed as being released in 9/2005 so DVDFab should be able to handle whatever is on this disk. You can get AnyDVD here http://www.slysoft.com Also, AnyDVD will tell you just what encryption is on the disk.

You can also try the old DVDDecrypter and try ripping in iso mode and then see if Shrink will open the file. You would just use Open Disk Image in the File tab of Shrink. If you do not have Decrypter then get it here.

Arniebear...I used AnyDVD and it worked like a charm. It was kinda confusing at first because it did nothing,meaning, no menu pops up.I guess it just runs in the back,huh? Anyways,THANKS for the help.

Glad it worked for you and you finally got your movie. Yes AnyDVD just works in the background and breaks encryption. If you right click on the redfox in the tray it will open the menu of the program and you can use the ripper to rip hard movies, and also see just what the protection is on the movie you are trying to backup. Happy burning :)
