Need help downloading music to PSP

I've hooked up my PSP using the USB cable and I've made all the files on the memory stick card. I want to take a cd that I have and download it onto the memory stick. My computer brings my cd's songs up in real player and when i try to transfer them over my PSP can't read it. I can make the song come up under Windows Media player and transfer them over to my PSP, but then my PSP reads the songs as WMA and won't let me play it until I enable the WMA playback. Is there any other or easier way to take songs from my cd's and put them on to my PSP?

Either u enable WMA or convert your tunes to MP3 or ATRAC3PLUS.

My PSP version is 2.60. How do i convert music into mp3 or ATRAC3PLUS?

WTF. There's an option right in the Settings menu to enable WMA playback. Just do that and then put your music on your psp. Why would you wanna go through the trouble of converting that crap.

You need to have web access to use the Enable WMA playback feature.
