Hello I am fairly new to all this type of thing so I have a question which I would be so happy if someone could please answer.
I have about 30 different 1 minute video clips (windows media format) downloaded from a website (obviously copy protected) so heres the question I would like to put all these clips in order to make it like a little film, is that possible and how?

hi billybrem,

you will need to convert those wmv files to an mpeg2 compatible format before you attempt to re author them into a sequence of your choosing

heres a link to a piece of software that should be able to assist you.Try it for a download and if you like it why not buy it.

repost if this isnt suitable and we will see if theres another solution.As for a reauthor program you can use shrink and nero to burn or imgburn

another great conversion program would be ConvertXtoDVD:

this will convert your files to DVD format and it will make menus and even burn your disk for you all in one shot! The free version has a logo watermark in the final product but at least you can try it out and see if you like it!

been to long ihoe hasnt it, still prefer the original version of DivX to dvd as its the free version.

@ billybren:

if you click the link for filepedia at the bottom of the screen yo'll be able to download it from page 3 of DVD-R tools for free.
