I am trying to get a good copy of King Solomon's Mine 2hr 57min. I first copied it as a DVD-5 to one disk using dvdfabencrypter and shink. Copied ok but everyone is fat. I then tried to copy it to 2 disks using DVDFab. It split the movie into 2 disks and copied fine, but again everyone on both disks are fat. Is anyone else having a problem with fat people on movies that run around 3 hours or more? How do I get rid of the fat people on long playing disks. I do not have this problem on any disk less than 2.5 hours.

LMAO Never heard this one before. Fat people on long moviers. Not to make light of your problem, but it is laughable. Can you make DL exact copy of the disc? It would be better and the movie would not be compressed and the people would not be thin-challenged!

ibcruzn,
Is the movie a Full screen version and you are watching it on a wide screen TV. In theory that would make the people fat looking as it squeezes the top and bottom inward

garmoon,
It is the only thing I could think of as Shrink does not play w/ the aspect ratio

No it is a 16 x 9 widescreen. When I first saw this I thought the same thing. I don't do 4 x 3 moview.

ibcruzn ,
Some DVD players have a feature that enables you to stretch a 4:3 to make it fit widescreen (16:9). Using that would make the people fat although if you can view the original and they are not fat then somehow the aspect ratio is being changed.

D/L = dual layer DVD

I have never done a dual layer and I do not have any dual layer disks.
Rather than waste more disks on this one I think I will just wait till the price drops down under ten bucks at walmart and purchase it. Thanks everyone for the help and watch out for those fat people.
