hey i just got into xbins does anyone no where i get the eeprom.bin do i go to the xbox folder or what someone please help ty. im sort of hot swapping my xbox and thats the only thing i need is that eeprom.bin heres the web page im lookin at

the EEPROM is already on your Xbox, it should be on the C: partition.
some programs like Slayer 2.6 auto installer can back it up for you.
Why are you needing another EEPROM then what is already there? Or can you not access the original HDD anymore?

hey steimy i finally got eeeprom.bin anyways i couldnt access me hard drive but now my only prob is when im hotswapping my xbox i burned the cd rom and i put it in and i go to option 3 and it says no drive found in primary slave if you could help me figure out how to access the primary slave or how to tell the computer to read from the primary slave it would be very much appreciated ty very much

best i can offer is a site with a lot of people who know about Xbox
not that people here don't, but if you can't get a response then go there. I know nothing about how to "hotswap"
with a chipped box when i want to switch HDD's i just take one out, then stock a new one in and run an auto installer disc to format it and put programs back on and i'm done. I understand that people who use softmods have a much more difficult process.
