People keep saying you cant upgrade the hard drive well here it says you can plus some other info I did not see around here yet.

but that upgrade will probaly cost around 100 dollars whcih would make it the same as the preimum version in prive, excpet it would not have all the thing the premium.

well yeah. Whoever said that you can't upgrade is a moron. Why did sony have 20gb and 60 gb then?

You can upgrade the harddrive... What if you ran out of Space, are you going to go out and buy 20gb everytime you ran out of space?

That's like alot of Harddrive you need to buy just for the ps3.

i know your only making the point that you can upgrade the 20gig model, but i really hope people out there see and understand the differences between the two models.... there is six months to the day to save up for this thing, do yourself a favor and find a way to save $20 more a month and your all set.

what is going to be stored in the hardrive that they are giving that much space? Does the PS3 have the ability to store movies, music, and pictures? if then how? via what?

thats a real good question because the HDD on the ps2 was only used for like 2 games.

I know there going to have packs for some games that you can download ,

There testing it out, there should be a map pack coming out for socom 3 ps2 any day now.

I hope you can download to the hdd but I dont no that sounds like a hacking risk.

well my xbox 360 hdd is nearly full, but instead of buying a new one i will just buy this thing i saw on the internet which connects between your hdd and xbox 360, then you just take the stuff you do not want from your hard drive and instead of deleting it you just put it on that thing and then load everything onto the pc hdd, so you will have endless amounth of space.
