DVD skips every 2minutes 30Seconds...Can i fix it by reburning it?

Well i got a dvd from a friend who doesnt have the movie anymore. The dvd skips ever minutes and 30seconds...Is there anyway i can recode it or something so i can reburn it and it wont skip anymore?

Try copying it again on some better media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim. It may just be a compatibility problem w/ the disc your friend used.
They could have used poorer quality media and burned at a high speed.
Not a good combo for poorer quality stuff.
