I recently bought a couple of new movies and I have had serious issues trying to copy them. I have been using a couple of different software types and non of them can bypass the newest encoding. I used shrink and it did not work, I also used DVD X Copy and that did not work. Any ideas on how I can back up my new movies? Any suggestions on software. I heard someone mention DVD Decrypter, but I thought that was not a ripping software and could no bypass the encryption on DVD's. Thanks for the help guys.

Neither Shrink nor Xcopy can do the newer encryptions you need the free ripper DVDFab Decrypter which is available here.

Rip to your HDD and then process with Shrink as usual and burn with whatever program you use. DVDDecrypter still works for many movies and is a ripper, although this program is no longer in development and has not updates.
