smartripper switchin to WinIO instead os aspi

I am using Win XP home, and so have downloaded adaptecs aspi driver for xp, however smartripper says that it doesnt have aspi for this drive, and switches to winio.....

Is there a fix for this? does it matter that it isnt using aspi? I'm trying to create a backup copy of 'the matrix' and its a bit jerky when in vob format....cud this be why?

I run XP as well and as such no aspi drivers are available. I have no problems with this as smartripper rips the vobs anyways. now if you are having a problem i suggest going here:
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cdr_software/cdr_tools/frcaspi.cfm
and downloading forceaspi.
