When i attempted to shrink We Were Soldirers i immediately encountered the message "DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Failed to read D:\. Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

what do i do

A CRC error typically means that the disc is dirty, scratched or has a factory defect. Make sure that the disc is free of dirt and scratches. You can also try ripping the disc to your HDD first using DVDFab Decrypter or DVD Decrypter.
