hey guys i have backed up a ton of titles with dvdfab and shrink
and i havent had one problem,until today.i tryed to back up
bourne supremacy,fab ripped it fine,but when i run shrink it started encoding and froze.got programming error-exception.is it somthing with windows? i backed up a couple other titles after that and everything is fine.got ME

sorry i should have read more posts.it looks like i need a some different software,or updated software.i would like your input on what to use.and while iam in here shrink compresses the files and puts them in a folder on the desktop.if i want to make more than one
copy,do i have to run shrink everytime?or can i use Nero and just burn it agin

Since shrink isn't updated anymore yep you'll get this error or a few others when it can't handle the copy protection.

The easiest method is AnyDVD running in the background w/ Shrink or with CloneDVD (it's partner from slysoft - compresses & burns). AnyDVD & Clone DVD have a 21 day free trial period. http://slysoft.com

Or free DVDFab Decrypter - rip to your hard drive then process those files thru Shrink. http://dvdidle.com/free.htm

If you want to make more than 1 copy just use Nero - open the folder where you put the files in w/ Nero then burn. You can also set the # of copies to burn.

i always use fab and rip to a file on my hard drive,then run shrink
it works perfect.but i got this error on this title.so do i need to use AnyDVD or the CloneDVD with shrink

Are you using the latest version of DVDFab? If so then those files may need to run thru vobblanker (free) 1st for Shrink to process. Here's a guide:
