Realtime: The processing of information that returns a result so rapidly that the interaction appears to be instantaneous. Videoconferencing is an example of a real-time application.
Does that mean no load times?

i heard that people were playing 2 levels of brothers and arms, an resistance and played to levels they thought they had played 1 because there was no laod time, on the x360 they played the same demo with load time.

who cares about load time. The ps3 might have better graphics in somepeople's opinions but the 360 ( and probably the Wii, if it ever comes out) will always be better, and cheaper.

Megabls ;If they are so much better why did they both get creamed last time. The gamecube and the first xbox had more power than ps2 but still got their asses handed to em.Therefore your analogy make no sense.
dr.cool ;lol
As far as what real time means it's all about the cell processor. It's capabilities include real time rendering.I think ttownklwn explained it best.

realtime (like a realtime operating system for example, like planes have) is a system that has 2 provide a response within a given time period.
thats the direct defination i learnt in A-level computing that im studying.
but i recon u mean when games are being showed in realtime, basically that means actual gameplay being shown or a gameplay demo, and not any type of pre-rendered video, like killzone 2 was for e.g. (a pre-rendered vid)
Don't judge the consoles by specs, more isnt always better, espec in PS3 specs.i know the truth, ask if u wanna know.......
Do not compete without valid correct technicality on your terms of the argument.

Thats a very interesting feature. I hate loading time's like those seen in Shenmue 2 on the Xbox (I mean come on!!! that was way too far) - seriously has anyone played that game. I took up on the refund policy at EB simply because of that! I have patience but not that much... Load times only bother me when you have to walk through alot of doors etc, and each load takes about 5 seconds - kills momentum. Anyway, the GC i thought was excellent regarding loading (was there any? lol) - and the PS3 looks to have it down pat based on Dr. Cools comments. Now i won't have time to scratch that itch before the game begins lol... Guess thats what the pause button is for...

very true but this time its a lot different, ps3, by what most people can see has no difference over xbox 360 in graphics, yet the price is still higher b/c of a media player (blu ray). it is coming out a year after, and also this time around ps3 will be releasing when xbox 360 hits most of its major exclusives later this year.
but this does not mak eit any better the the ps3, just means that this war is completely different to the last one.

nooo the ps3s cell processor and the stacking of the chips is MUCH better it is like 8 processors running at once. also like i said no load time is nice for rpgs where you walk into a room and start loading

Did you not find it to be the most annoying game ever regarding load times and especially the frequency of loading. The game was all load and no play! lol

Oh Damnit! I wanted to get that when I get an Xbox 360 -theres no way I could run it on PC (without a complete PC rebuild which i can't afford!) and now you tell me this lol... Taken the wind out me sails haha! Morrowind on Xbox had some gay load times - Is it worse than that?

Ty, please dont bag on my beloved DBZ, especially Budokai3, cause that is 1 of my favorite fighting games ever. I understand that a lot of ppl dont have the intellectual capacity to undersatnd the complexity that is DBZ, so kindly aim ur insults at another game, such as Pokemon. LMFAO, but in all honesty, lay off DBZ TY:)

they were bad but i have seen worse in most ps2 (gta, dbz, etc, etc) and some xbox games (ninja gaiden, etc, etc). and considering it was the first massive rpg for the 360 they did a pretty good job.
